Meg Erke

Meg is an artist and educator with over a decade of experience.  Meg works out of her home studio in the vibrant Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis. She loves bookbinding, mixed media painting and teaching budding artists of all ages and abilities. Meg’s work is inspired by nature and the accessibility of outdoor spaces in Minneapolis area. She finds beauty in the discarded (broken books, old windows, yellowed paper). Meg is especially drawn to old and broken books integrating parts of salvaged books into all of her work.
